This stripe is patterned from the original Shelby American suggested dimensions for a 65-66 fastback, Over the years they have been adapted and used successfully on 67-68 fastbacks as well as 65-68 coupes and convertibles, 2 inch space between stripes, 9 1/4 inch wide stripes at the valance and front of hood, 10 1/2 inch at rear of cowl to windshield and at the front edge of the roof, 10 3/8 inch at the rear of the roof, 10 1/8 inch at the base of the rear window at the deck extension, 10 inch at the rear edge of the trunk lid and down the taillight panel and rear valance.
